Your Senator – Senator Durbin - was one of five Senators who made history by releasing a groundbreaking proposal for Congress to follow when crafting a comprehensive immigration reform bill. The proposal they released on April 29 specifically calls for the inclusion of the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) in comprehensive immigration reform – the first Congressional comprehensive immigration proposal to ever do so.
