Faith Coalition for the Uniting American Families Act
We invite national and local faith organizations, congregations and individual faith leaders to join the Faith Coalition for the Uniting American Families Act.
The Faith Coalition for the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) is a project of the Immigration Equality Action Fund. Members of the coalition provide supportive religious voices for inclusion of all families in comprehensive immigration reform measures.
Member organizations represent a diverse group of local and national religious organizations and faith leaders who believe that any immigration reform effort must also end discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) immigrant families through the inclusion of UAFA in any legislative action.
Through a multi-denominational campaign for passage of UAFA, the faith coalition calls on Congress to follow religious traditions of welcoming and caring for all families, including those separated, or facing separation, because of discriminatory immigration laws.
