In one sentence, what do you do all day?
I assist Immigration Equality with their fundraising efforts.
How is that going?
Great!
What are you hoping to accomplish while here?
I hope to gain exposure to the field of Immigration Law before beginning my legal studies while assisting Immigration Equality with their efforts to win equality for HIV+ and LGBT individuals and couples.Where are you from?
I grew up in Newtown, Connecticut.

What's your one tip for striking balance?
Whether you are a morning or night person doesn't matter - just get into a routine and stick with it!
Is mixing school school and an internship worth it?
It's summer ...
What do you do in your free time?
Travel, cook, try new/cheap food spots, read, go to movies, concerts, photography, museums, gym, enjoy the outdoors!
What are you currently reading?
Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins and The Company of Women by Khushwant Singh
Favorite TV show?
Mad Men and Seinfeld
If you had one superpower what would it be?
The power of flight.
What's the most surprising part of your internship?
The free coffee is really delicious.
What's the hardest part?
Not drinking 3 cups of free coffee every day I come in :)
What's your interest in immigration rights?
I'm generally interested in human rights issues and I've done past development work with marginalized communities. Until now, most of my work experience has been abroad, so I wanted to gain exposure to the "domestic" side of this picture and immigration rights seemed like a good place to start.
How did you learn about Immigration Equality?
